KiwiSaver First Home Withdrawal
Saving a healthy deposit is an unattainable dream for many Kiwis, but fortunately there is assistance.
After three years of contributing to your KiwiSaver fund, you may be entitled to withdraw an amount to contribute towards your first home.
If you meet the criteria, you can withdraw all but $1000 from your account to put towards a deposit or part of the settlement amount.
There are conditions which include:
- The house must be intended to live in and not a rental property.
- The house must be in New Zealand.
- You must not have made a withdrawal from your KiwiSaver for this purpose before.
